# Introduction
While helping a colleague with his [wiki](http://www.gideonvisser.com/) I decided it was time to make my own. So after repurposing an old [Django](https://www.djangoproject.com/) project and adding two [Markdown](https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax) libraries, [TeXMe](https://github.com/susam/texme) and [SimpleMDE](https://simplemde.com/) this site was born.
